Lug Nut Questions

How do I know what size lug nuts I need?
Two things: the thread size (for example 14x1.50mm or 1/2"-20) and the seat type of your wheels. Use the lookup on this page for the thread size, then match the seat: most aftermarket wheels are 60° conical, Honda and Acura factory wheels are ball seat, and Toyota and Lexus factory alloys take a mag nut.
Can I reuse my factory lug nuts on new wheels?
Only if the seat matches. Factory nuts for ball-seat or mag-seat wheels usually won’t seat properly on aftermarket conical-seat wheels. Bring your old nut in or call (330) 707-4545 and we will check it.
How many lug nuts do I need?
One per stud: the first number of your bolt pattern (5x114.3 means 5 per wheel) times the number of wheels. Use the calculator on this page.
My vehicle uses lug bolts. Do you carry those?
Some European and other vehicles use lug bolts that screw into the hub instead of nuts on studs. Call (330) 707-4545 with your vehicle and we will find the right bolts.

Tire tip: set your tire pressure to the number on the sticker in the driver's door jamb, not the maximum printed on the tire. Tires at the right pressure are safer and last longer, says the U.S. government's fuel economy guide.
