Push your wheels out for brake clearance, a flush fitment or a wider stance.

A wheel spacer sits between the hub and the wheel and moves the wheel further out from the vehicle.
Thin slip-on spacers go over the studs you already have, so the studs must still be long enough for the lug nuts to grip fully. Thicker bolt-on spacers bolt to the hub and carry their own studs for the wheel.
Common reasons: a new wheel rubs the brake caliper or suspension, the wheel sits too far inside the fender, or you want a wider stance.
